The Lake Odessa Wave-Times, Thursday, December 10, 1942

After many years of illness, Mrs. Cecil (Cecile) Goodemoot Erdman whose home 
was in Danby township, died Monday at Traverse City where she had been several 
years for treatment.  She was a bright, ambitious young woman caring for her 
father’s home in Odessa township during her mother’s long illness.  She 
married Floyd Erdman October 3, 1919.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters and one son, Charlene of 
Charlotte, Mildred, Donna, and Florence and Frederick, a senior at the 
Sunfield high school.  There are four brothers, Donald Goodemoot in Odessa, 
Kenneth at Greenwich, Conn., Russell in Glendale, Calif., and Dale of 
Munising, Michigan, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Jusino in Detroit.

The funeral will be held at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield at 2 p.m. 
Saturday.
