Graveside services for Earl A. Goodemoote, 53, of 1166 Clarksville Rd., rural
Portland, where Monday morning at Lakeside cemetery with Rev. Elwood Norton and
Rev. Patrick Neff officiating.  Mr. Goodemoote died Saturday at St. Mary’s
Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born March 16, 1925 in Sebewa Township, the son of Allyn and Florence Fox
Goodemoote.  He attended West Sebewa rural school and graduated from Lake Odessa
high school in 1941.  Mr. Goodemoote attended Clarksville Bible church and was a
veteran of the Korean conflict.  He married the former Shirley Schramblin in
Grand Rapids October 27, 1956.  She survives.

Also surviving are one son John and one daughter, Sherry at home; two brothers
Michael (Merle) and Richard of rural Portland; two sisters Ruth Thorpe and Mrs.
Ruby Williams of Lake Odessa, his father, Allyn Goodemoote of Sebewa and nieces
and nephews.

A memorial fund is established for the Clarksville Bible church.  Arrangements
by the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel.
