She passed away, surrounded by her loving family, in the room in which her late-husband was born. She was born to the late Tony and Mabel McCaul on February 6, 1923. Lois graduated from lake Odessa High School in 1940, where she was a member of the State Champion Lake Odessa High School girls Basketball team. She married the lat Myron "Mike" Goodemoot in 1940 and they lived together in lake Odessa on their Centennial Farm on Goodemoot Road. There she became the matriarch of an ever-growing, cherished family. An incredible cook with the warmest of hearts, she truly welcomed all to the farm and no one ever left hungry. She was rarely found without a crochet hook in her hand, working on a new project for one of her grandkids. She was a longtime member of the Central United Methodist church and worked for years at the Fate's/Carl's Supermarket in lake Odessa. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Mike of 61 years; sons, Gary and Roger; her parents; brothers, Burton and Owen, and grandson, Mikey. She is survived by four of her children, Barbara (Dennis) Sauers, Nancy (Phil) Potter, Jerri Yaeger, and Mark (Darlene) Goodemoot; daughter-in-law, Jill Goodemoot; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Doris and he sisters- in-law, Peg Faulkner, Eunice Goodemoot, and Bernie Goodemoot. Visitation was held on September 25, 2018 at the Central United methodist church, followed by the funeral service. Private burial took place at Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.
