Lake Odessa Wave
          RURAL RESIDENT DIES IN PENNOCK
   Mrs. Florence A. Goodemoot, 86, Rte. One, Portland, passed away Thursday at
Pennock Hospital, Hastings where she was hospitalized 16 days.  She as born in Odessa 
Township, October 4, 1887, daughter of Herrick and Elizabeth (Chapman) Fox.
   She married Allyn Goodemoot September 16, 1913 and she had lived her entire life
in the Sebewa area.  A member of the West Sebewa Church of Christ she was also a life member 
of Community Club.
   Surviving are her husband Allyn;  two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Ruby) Williams of
Lake Odessa and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Thorp, rural Portland;  three sons, Earl, Merle and 
Richard all of rural Portland;  15 grand children;  and  a sister, Mrs. Sadie Goodemoot of 
Lake Odessa.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel
at Lake Odessa.  Rev. Elwood Norton of Clarksville officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
