SARA A. GOODEMOOT
LAKE ODESSA-Sara A. Goodemoot, 91, of Lake Odessa, died Sunday at Provincial 
House in Hastings.

She was born Feb. 6, 1891 in Odessa Township, the daughter of Herrick and 
Elizabeth Chapman Fox.

She attended Carr Rural School, and married Donald Goodemoot in ionia in 
September 1912. He died March 10, 1952.

She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Lake Odessa, the 
South Berlin Ladies Aid and the West Sebewa Community Club.

Survivors include four sons, Ford, Myron, Rex, and Donald, all of Lake Odessa; 
three daughters Marion McDowell, Helen Robinson and Arlene Faulkner, all of Lake 
Odessa; one daughter-in-law, Ethel Goodemoot of Lake Odessa; 42 grandchildren; 
71 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

One son and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be today at 1:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral 
Chapel in Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Stephen Kellar officiating.

Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.

A memorial to the Central United Methodist Church, and envelopes will be 
available at the funeral home.
