The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 15, 1941
Funeral services for George Allyn Goodemoot, who died at his home at West 
Sebewa last Wednesday were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the residence where he 
had lived for the past 40 years.  Rev. E. J. Thompson of Woodland officiated 
and interment was at Lakeside cemetery at Lake Odessa.

Bearers were Issi Fletcher, Burt Thorp, Joseph Schnable, William Ehlens, 
Victor Wilson and James Storey.  Music was furnished by three nephews, 
Francis, and Ford Goodemoot and …….

Among those attending the service were Homer Waring, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence 
Oatley of Kewadin, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Andrews of Alden; Mr. and Mrs. Charles 
Creighton and Lewis and Joyce, of Elkhardt, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. George 
Creighton and family of Lansing; Ford Cotton Quincey; Mr. and Mrs. Florian 
Kenyon and Mrs. Mabel Valentine of Lansing; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Warham and 
Mrs. Minnie Everett of Detroit.
