Funeral services for Vaughn E. Goodemoot of Sebewa, who died Feb. 17 at Veterans
Hospital in Dearborn, were held Saturday, Feb. 20, at 1:30 p.m. from the Pickens
funeral chapel in Lake Odessa.  Services were conducted by the Rev. Earl Sease
of Coats Grove.  Grave services were under the auspices of Dale E. Hyland Post,
American Legion, of Portland.  Burial was in Lakeside cemetery at Lake Odessa.

Relatives from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Andrews and Ford
Cotton of Alden, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Waring of Williamsburg; George Creighton,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Creighton, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey McCann of Lansing; Mrs. Edna
Huntley of Ann Arbor; Mrs. Flossie Shively and Laurence Shively of Lake City;
Mr. and Mrs. Percy Abendshein of Marshall; Mr. and Mrs. Percy Davenport of Grand
Ledge; and Mrs. L. Thompson of Coats Grove.
