The Ionia County News, Thursday, September 19, 1935

Funeral services for Levi Goodenough, 86, will be held from the home of George 
Bennett of Berlin township today, Thursday, at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will be 
made at Letts Cemetery in Berlin.  He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
George Bennett and Mrs. George Hausserman, of Orange, four grandchildren and 
one great grandchild, and a brother, Gorge Goodenough, of Saranac, and two 
sisters, Mrs. John Fullington and Mrs. John Coon of Berlin.

Mr. Goodenough had been failing in health for some time and passed away 
Tuesday morning at the home of Mrs. George Bennett, a daughter.  He was a 
pioneer of Ionia county, having been born in 1849 in Orange township, where he 
lived most of his life.
