May Street, were held Friday afternoon at Charles M. Courser Funeral Home. Rev. Wilford D. Wood officiated. Interment was at River Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Oren Wine, Gerald Wine, Lawrence Wine, Morris Woods, Allen Lasby and Dave Gardner. Mrs. Goodenough died July 5 at United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. She was born December 28, 1895 in Lowell, the daughter of George Taylor and Hannah Brown. She married Rufus Goodenough who preceded her in death in 1958. Mrs. Goodenough was a Belding resident for 35 years. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, chapter #43. Mrs. Goodenough is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Cora) Wine of Bellevue and Mrs. Dale (Nora) Hudnutt of Belding; one brother Carl Taylor of Belding; and nieces and nephews.
