GOODENOUGH, AMBY LEVI:
   Per STANTON CLIPPER HERALD, MI, Friday, June 5, 1931, front page:  "Former
Resident is Taken by Death.  Amby Levi Goodenough, 82, answers roll call on May
31st.  He was born in Monroe Co, NY, 5-15-1849 and died 5-31-1931.  He married
Christina Baddis 12-24-1868 in Orange Twp, Ionia Co, MI.  There were 4 children
born:  William Ambros, Robert Jackson who died in infancy, Willis H. of Alba,
MI, Lillie May Carothers of Belding.
   After marriage, they lived in Orange Twp 7 years, Palo 3 years, Sheridan 1
year, Sherman Twp, Isabella Co for 20 years, then moving to Stanton.
   His wife died 4-9-1926 and he made his home with Mrs. Dora Baddis of Edmore,
then with daughter, Mrs. George H. Carothers.
   He leaves 1 son, Willis, daughter Lillie May Carothers, 5 grandchildren, Mrs.
Florence Goodenough Liggett of Saginaw, Russell O., Laurence J. O, Stanley of
Alba, Mrs. Dora B. Baddis of Edmore, 6 great grandchildren."
