Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 9 Aug 2008

John J. Gooding, age 58, of Sheridan, passed away July 31, 2008, in Kalkaska. 
John is the owner of Sheil’s Tavern in Hubbardston.  He is survived by his
mother, Marie Stephensen of Deming, N.M; adoptive father, Edmond Gooding of
Greenville; son, Josh Gooding of Sheridan; three brothers and one sister.  A
memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, August 6, at the Lux and Schnepp
Funeral Home, Carson City.  Donations may be made to a charity that will be
decided at a later time.
