Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Apr 1976

Portland – Rita T. Goodman, 59, of route 2, died April 24 after a long illness.
 She was born February 10, 1917 in Westphalia, the daughter of Edward and
Eleanor Arnes Hengesbach.

Survivors are her husband, Carl, of Portland; two sons, Lawrence of Ionia and
Douglas of Portland; one daughter, Barbara Goodman of Chicago, Ill.; two
grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Hengesbach of Portland and Francis
Hengesbach of Grand Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Ma?e Hattis of Portland.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s church in Portland. 
Arrangements by Neller Funeral home.
