Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Mar 1990

Pauline Goodman, 86, of 6805 W. Grand River Ave., Portland, died March 28 at a
Lansing hospital.  She was born July 27, 1903 in Westphalia, the daughter of
Anthony and Teressa (Schafer) Pline.

She is survived by three sons, Christie Goodman, and Richard (Tony) both of
Portland, Kenneth of Lansing; two daughters, Geraldine Thocker of Lansing and
Mrs. James (Diane) Leik of Portland; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Rita Bohr and Alvina Nurenberg, both of Westphalia.  Her husband,
Edward, preceded her in death.

Rosary services will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at Neller Funeral Home in
Portland.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from St. Patrick’s Church
in Portland, with the Rev. Richard VanLente officiating.
