Edward C.Goodman
Edward C.Goodman of 710 W.Grand River Ave., Portland, died on Aug. 24 at Provincial

House in Lansing.

He was born on Dec. 21, 1893, in Westphalia, the son of Christian and Elizabeth
Hufnagle Goodman. He was 88 when he died.

He was a retired farmer and member of Portland St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife Pauline; three sons; Richard and Christin of Portland and
Kenneth of Lansing; two daughters: Mrs. Geraldine Thocker of Lansing and Mrs. Diane Leik of
Portland; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers; John of Westphalia and
Alfred of Portland; one sister; Mary Goodman of Westphalia.

Rosary services were held at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland. Mass was held at
the St.Patrick's Church with the Rev. Donald Weber officiating. He was buried in the
Portland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Steve Goodman, Marty Goodman, Chris Goodman, John Thocker, Douglas
Leik and Denny Godman.
