This was perhaps the first burial of the kind ever made here. Mr. Goodrich was a veteran of the civil war and many of his comrades paid their last respects at the funeral, which was held in Chicago. The casket was completely covered with beautiful flowers and draped with American flags. Mr. Goodrich was 69 years of age at the time of his death and was a brother-in- law of Mrs. W. P.
