Ionia Sentinel, 26 Jan 1971

Mrs. Corinne Wolverton Goodwin, 79, of Adrian died Monday evening at Stephenson 
home.  She was born in Orange township February 18, 1891, the daughter of Elmer 
and Agnes Wolverton.  She was a member of Adrian Presbyterian church.  
Graduating from Ionia high school she also attended Eastern Michigan college at 
Ypsilanti.  She taught near Ionia and in Greenville.

She was married to O. T. Goodwin, August 22, 1917 and he died February 28, 
1941.  Also preceding her in death was a son Donald, who was a World War II 
pilot and died in 1945 in the service of his country.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward Wickham of Adrian; four grandchildren and 
a brother, Lester of Ionia.

Time of services has not yet been announced.
