The Ionia County News, Thursday, September 19, 1935

Mrs. Claude Goodwin died at her home in Easton township at 12:45 Wednesday 
afternoon, September 18, at the age of 48.  

Eliza Hopkins was born in Mecosta, October 7, 1887 and came to Easton township 
in early childhood.  She had spent most of her lifetime in Ionia county.

Surviving are her husband, Claude Goodwin, one son, Clyde; two sisters, Mrs. 
Sarah White, of Lyons and Mrs. Ida Badder, of Palo; two brothers, Alfred 
Hopkins, of St. Louis, Michigan, and Miles Hopkins, of Hastings.

Rev. F. J. Fitch will conduct the funeral which will be from the Myers Funeral 
Home Friday afternoon at two o’clock.
