The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, July 26, 1928
M. H. Goodwin, aged 72 years, died at his home in Easton, Thursday morning 
after an illness of several months of heart disease.  He had lived in this 
same farm since he was a baby of six weeks when his parents moved from Keene 
township to the present location of Mr. Goodwin’s home.

He was a member of the Ionia order of Elks.

His widow and one daughter, Mrs. N. J. Bishop, and two grandchildren survive.

The funeral services will be held from the residence in Easton Sunday 
afternoon at 3 o’clock.
