Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Aug. 13, 1966

A. Clair Goodwin, 88, of 3796 Hoyt road, route two, Belding, died August 12 in 
Belding Community hospital where he had been a patient the past 23 days.

He was born October 24, 1877, in Easton township. A lifelong resident of the 
Balding area, he worked as a carpenter and a farmer.

Surviving are four daughter, Mrs. Lillian DeLine of route two, Belding, Mrs. 
Warren Covey of Stanwood, Mrs. Frank Covey of Stanwood and Mrs. Arze Collins of 
Orleans, one son, Leslie of Belding, 29 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren 
and 5 great great grandchildren.

Rev. Kenneth Harger will conduct the services Monday at 2 p.m. at Huffman 
funeral home in Belding. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
