LILY GOODWIN, 9
   Lily Marlene Goodwin, Ionia, passed away Dec. 20, 2017.
   She was born July 29, 2008, in Greenville, the daughter of Devin Goodwin and
Kimberlee Girlie.  Lily attended Boyce Elementary School.  She belonged to Champion 
Force Athletics.  Lily enjoyed Cheer and Karate where she received her yellow belt.  
She loved swimming and reading and was a real thrill seeker. 
   Lily is survived by her parents, Devin and Kimberlee of Ionia; grandparents, Judy
Girlie of Ionia, James Girlie of Georgie Andrea and Owen Goodwin of Oregon; siblings 
Michael Hospe, Ryan Hospe, Jazmin Goodwin and Skyler Wright all of Ionia; aunts, 
uncles and cousins; special friends, Officer Mike Cronk, Diane Grummer Rhonda Kapp, 
Danielle Sibley and Roxanne Fosburg.
   A special thank you to Helen Devos Children's Hospital Team Lily supporters, and
the entire Ionia Community that has continued to support her and her family.
   Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul
Catholic Church with Pastor Cliff Allen and Father Tom Brown officiating.  Visitations 
will be Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Steele Street Hall.
   Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Pediatric Oncology Resource Team
or Ionia Community Awareness.  Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
