T. Goodwin, 52 year old former Ionia man, died Friday at Adrian. He was secretary-treasurer and general manger of the Michigan Producers Dairy company. He was also president of the Adrian National bank. Goodwin had been in Ionia Sunday to visit his mother, Mrs. C. I. Goodwin, who lives with her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Moore on Lafayette Street, and who celebrated her 82nd birthday Monday. He was apparently well at the time of the visit. He was graduated form the Ionia high school about 1909 and from Michigan State college in 1913. After graduation from college he taught at the college dairy department and later at the University of Georgia. For the past 17 years he has made his home in Adrian, and has been associated with the Producers Dairy company. He was married to Corinne Wolverton of Ionia. He was a member of the Masonic and Elks lodges. Surviving are: the wife, Corinne; two children, Agnes and Donald; his mother, Mrs. C. I. Goodwin, and a sister, Mrs. Jacob Moore, of Ionia. His father died in October 1940 and another sister, Lora, died in Japan about 15 years ago.
