Shirley A.Goodyear, 72, of Ludington, died Friday, March 19, 2010.  She was born
Dec.  14, 1937, in Flint to Frank and Mabel (Henry) Sarginson.  Shirley attended
Mott Community College and was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 25 years, working
at the Ionia Manor in Ionia.

She is survived by her children, Scott Allen Goodyear of Ionia, David James
(Michelle) Goodyear of DeWitt, Nancy Ann (Miquel) Quinteros of Pentwater, Julie
Marie (Stephen) Marklevitz of Middleville; six grandchildren, Brianne, Darryl,
Lucas, Michael, Nathan and Jessica.  Shirley was preceded in death by her
siblings, Kenneth Sarginson, Frank Sarginson and Helen Ryan.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Shirley will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday,
March 23, 2010, from St. Gregory Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Schneider and
Fr. Thomas Bolster.  Interment will be in the DeWitt Cemetery.  Visitation will
be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Tate-King Funeral Home, where the Rosary will
be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
