Ionia Standard - Friday December 11, 1908

George Goolthrite died Wednesday morning at his home, one mile west of Carson 
City, as the result of an operation for appendicitis. The remains will be brought 
her for burial in the East Side Cemetery, Thursday Dec. 10.  
Mr. Goolthrite is well known here.
