Lyons Herald, 27 Jan 1910

Wm. L. Gordon died at the home of his daughter in Evart, Michigan, January 18, 
1910, aged 65 years.  The body was brought to Lyons for burial and the funeral 
was held at the Adventist church Friday, Jan. 21, conducted by M. S. Worden of 
Muir.  Interment in Lyons cemetery.

Mr. Gordon served in the Civil War and comrades from the G.A.R. post acted as 
pall-bearers.  He lived just west of Lyons for several years and is survived by 
a wife, three sons and two daughters.
