B. Gorham, 116 East Washington Street, to attend her funeral service which was conducted by Rev. Joseph H. Green, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The service was brief and simple in keeping with the quiet, unassuming Christian life of the dead. A mass of floral offerings were in charge of Mrs. Montgomery Webster and Miss Anna Webster. The bearers were Austin Barnes, William L. Barnes, Hal Smith, Jr., Yates Gorham Smith, Burton Sibley, and Frederick Sibley, nephews. Burial took place in the Gorham lot in Highland Park Cemetery. Those from away to attend the service were Mr. and Mrs. Hal Smith and son, Hal Jr.; Mr. and Mrs. Yates Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barnes and son William L., and Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barnes of Detroit; Charles Gorham, of Chicago; Mrs. Frick, of Memphis, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith, of Grand Rapids; William Knickerbocker and sister, Miss Knickerbocker of Jackson and Miss Nell Sibley, of Lapeer.
