The Ionia Sentinel, Thursday, January 4, 1900

Edmund L. Gorman, a resident of Lyons since 1874, died Dec. 23, 1899, at the 
age of 80 years.  He was a man highly esteemed, and a member of the G.A.R. 
post at that place.  The burial occurred Dec. 26.
