Born Jan.9, 1898, in Howell, she was the daughter of Arthur and Lena Paddack Monroe. She attended Lansing Central High School. She was married to Dewey Gosch May 18, 1920, in Lansing, He preceded her in death Aug. 30, 1982. She was a charter member of the Lansing First United Brethren Chruch and a life member of its Missionary Society, which she served as treasurer for 20 years She was the church Treasurer for 25 years. Surviving are three daughters Mrs.Jon (Evelyn) Howard of Madison Heights, Mrs.Ray (Helen) Wortley of Lake Odessa, and Mrs Bruce (Eunice) Eckardt of Lake Odessa, one son, Donald of Fulton, N.Y., 11 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren. One sister, Verna Nichols preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at t he Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa. Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Park.
