Goss, Es.,of this village whose death was announced in last week's OBSERVER, was born Wyoming Co.,New York, July 8th, 1840. At the age of nine she came with her parents to Clinton Co., this state, were they resided many years.She was married to Mr.Wm. Goss, July 14, 1858, and after a few years residence on a farm in Westphalia township, they removed to this village having lived here nearly eighteen years. The deceased was possessed of a cheerful and amiable disposition, which enabled her to bear the trials and adversities of life with fortitude a well as to enjoy to the fullest extent its blessings.She was benevolent and kind, ever ready to extend a helping hand to those in trouble and affliction, and as long as health permitted was among the first to be at the bedside of the sick, where she was untiring in her efforts to alleviate suffering. For over three years she had been infailing health and most of the time was under the doctor's care. She had for several years been a consistent and valued member of the Universalist Church of this village, and her firm faith in a merciful God, whose love extends to all his children and who in his infinite love wisdom will bring them into a higher and better state of existence in the life to come, endured to the last and was a source of the greatest comfort and consolation. She leaves a husband and three daughters, and a large circle of warm friends to mourn her loss.The funeral services took place at the universalist Church on Tuesday of last week, and were largely attended, Rev.
