Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Nov 1936

Mrs. Fred Gott, 68 died Friday morning, November 20 at the home on 1056 West
Main street after an illness of eight months.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Henry Higley of Grand Rapids;
eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was born in Ionia County August 21, 1868.  She married Fred Gott, January
14, 1892 and they have lived in Ionia for 29 years.  She was a member of the
State road club.

Funeral services will be held from the home on West Main street Sunday
afternoon, November 22 at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. A.C. DeVries.  Burial will be at
Woodward Lake cemetery.
