Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Sep 1935

George B. Gott died Thursday night at 9 o’clock at his home in Easton township
following an illness of six days.  Mr. Gott was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Well
Gott and was born in Easton township in 1864 he had lived his entire life in
Easton on the old homestead.

Surviving besides the widow are two children, Augustus Gott, of Ionia, and Mrs.
Laura Young, of Easton, two brothers, Frank of Vestaburg, and Fred of Ionia, and
one sister, Mrs. Clara Yeomans, of Orleans.

Funeral services will be conducted from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock
with interment at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
