Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 14 Feb 1921

Mrs. Josephine Gott was born May 17, 1872 in Ionia and died February 7, 1921, at
the home of her son near Portland.  Her husband died in 1889.  She leaves five
children.  Mrs. Gott was a member of the United Brethren church of Orleans.  The
funeral was held in the Cemetery church, near their old home and was largely
attended by her relatives and friends and the remains were laid to rest in the
North Star cemetery beside her husband.  The funeral service was conducted by
Rev. S.J. Potter.
