Ionia Sentinel, 24 Feb 1881

Died – At her residence in South Boston, on Saturday, February 19th, 1881, Mrs.
Hannah Gould, aged 73 years.  The deceased was one of the earliest settlers in
this township and was much respected and esteemed by all who knew her.  She
leaves a husband, a number of children and a large circle of friends to mourn
her death.  Her funeral, which was largly attended, was held at the Union church
in South Boston, Sunday morning.
