Daily Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, June 27, 1931

Mrs. Lloyd C. Gould, 45, of Sheridan, died in the Greenville Memorial hospital 
Saturday morning following an operation performed a few days ago. Funeral 
services will be held in the Sheridan Congregational church Sunday afternoon at 
4 o'clock. Rev. Cornelius will be in charge. Burial will be in the Sheridan 
cemetery.

Mrs. Gould was in the center of the social life of Sheridan. She was at the 
time of her death the worth high priestess of the White Shrine of Greenville; 
member of the Pearl lake chapter, O.E.S., Sheridan; member of the Rebekah and 
Maccabee lodge, of Sheridan, and was affiliated with the state federation of 
woman's clubs.

She was a member of the Gould players troupe which has given shows in Ionia 
many times. She has lived for five years at Sheridan, going from Orleans to her 
present home.
