Gould, 84, of route 3, Greenville, Morgan’s Mills, suffered a heart attack and died at his home early Monday evening. He was born in Easton township, November 13, 1883, the son of Frederic A. and Dora Currier Gould. He made his home on the family farm until a young man when he left to become a barber. Working for several barbers around the area he later owned and operated his own shop in Ionia. After semi-retirement he moved to Morgan’s Mills at which time he barbered in Smyrna and also at the cottage where he lived. October 23, 1911 he was married in Ionia to Gertrude Higgins who preceded him in death August 9, 1966. Surviving besides his daughter, Mrs. Ray Jameson of Ionia, are a brother, Glenn of North State road, and a sister, Mrs. Elta Snell; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 pm at Boynton funeral home with Rev Theodore Forbes of First Christian church officiating. Interment will be in Easton cemetery. Family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.
