The Ionia Sentinel, Saturday, May 17, 1924
A message was received Friday by Mrs. Nelson Powell telling of the sudden 
death in Detroit of her uncle, G. W. Gould.  Mr. Gould was born in Ionia, but 
when a young man went to Detroit, where he lived since.  He is survived by his 
wife.  The funeral party will drive from Detroit Sunday morning and Rev. C. J. 
Kruse will conduct a short service at the grave, probably about 2:30 p.m. 
Burial will be in the family lot at Highland Park, where his infant son was 
buried about 16 years ago.
