Born in Easton township November 5, 1888 he was the son of Frederic and Dora Currier Gould. July 11, 1914 he married Florence Marie Cutler in Ionia. She preceded him in death in 1967. He was a lifelong Ionia area resident and was engaged in farming during the greater part of his life. He worked for a short time at Ionia Manufacturing Co. during World War II. Prior to selling in 1968 and moving to Belding he owned and operated a truck garden on North State road. Mr. Gould’s only survivors are nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 2 pm at the Boynton-Leddick funeral home. Rev. Theodore Forbes of First Christian church will officiate and interment will be at Easton cemetery. Relatives will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 pm to receive friends.
