Ionia Daily Sentinel, 27 Nov 1917

The funeral for Mrs. Frederick Graff was attended Sunday afternoon from the
family home, 561 North Union street, Rev. Cyrus Mendenhall giving the simple and
impressive service of the Episcopal ritual.  There were many relatives present,
the funeral being otherwise private.  An evidence of esteem and sympathy was
noticed in the profusion of flowers that came from relatives and friends.  The
remains were carried by four family friends whom Mrs. Graff had known well in
her life time, George H. Kuhtz, Henry F. Voelker, Fred Lauster and Fred Cutler,
jr.  The remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery under a blanket of
violets.
