Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 May 1989

Herald T. Graft, 80, of 11592 Frost Road, Portland, died May 27 at St. Lawrence 
Hospital, Lansing.  He was born Jan. 10, 1909, in Danby Township, the son of 
Reuben and Harriet Williams Graft.

Surviving are three sons, Gordon, Howard and Gary, all of Portland; a daughter, 
Cheryle Meyers of Orlando, Fla., a foster daughter, Henrietta Trish of Flint; 
18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Clare Graft of 
Sandstone, Va.; and two sisters, Estella McCrumb of Portland and Evelyn Green 
of Mulliken.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Neller Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner officiating.

buried in Danby Cemetery.]
