She is survived by her loving husband, George; son, Stephen; grandson, Jason, all of Jackson; brother, Robert Arthur, of Carbondale, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, John W. "Bill" Arthur and mother, Geraldine (Clevenger) Arthur. Ann graduated from Ionia High School and Ball State University. She retired from Northwest School District in Jackson and went to work as Political Action Manager for the Michigan Education Association, from which she retired in 2005. She was a proud and active member of the Democratic Party and was invited to The White House by both President Carter and President Clinton. Ann has been cremated and in accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Ann to the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one's choice.
