Percy Granger, 77, of Northern Michigan, formerly of Ionia, passed away Monday,
Nov. 27, 2006.  He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Evergreen Township, the son of
Percy and Lenah Carpenter Granger.  He married Mary Miller on Aug. 3, 1968.  He
was a past member of the Odd Fellows.  He owned and operated an adult foster
care in Ionia for many years with his wife, Mary.  He loved farming, beekeeping,
hiking and many outdoor activities.  

He was preceded in death by his uncle Ted and aunt Mildred; several cousins;
mother-in-law and father-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.  Percy is survived by
his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Granger; daughter, Katie Granger of Northern
Michigan; and granddaughter, Isabella Lenah Granger.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home, Ionia, with the
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.
