Mary Ann Grant, 71, of Hubbardston passed away Wednesday, Feb.  3, 2010, at
Carson City Hospital.  Funeral services were held Monday, Feb.  8 at Woodward
Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral
Home, Carson City.

Mary Ann was born October 10, 1938, in Hubbardston the daughter of Gilbert and
Mary J.(Foster) Wolfert.  She worked for Chrysler in Lyons for several years and
had also worked at Ore-Ida in Greenville, Browns Mfg. in Ionia, Department of
Public Works in Hubbardston, painted her own signs for businesses and individual
and ran Wal Nutty Acres raising purebred Labs for police work and leader dogs
for the blind.

She is survived by three sons, Aaron J. Ralph of Jackson, Martin (Donnita
Emerson) Grant of Maple Rapids and Jason Grant of Mississippi; a grandson,
Brennen Lee; and two sisters, Margaret (Archie) Phelps of Alaska and Elizabeth
(Greg) Criss of Lansing.  Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Harry Lee Grant in 1992; and a brother, Richard Wolfert.
