Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Sep 2009

Carl Graves, age 77, of Sunset Beach, N.C. and formerly of Ionia, passed away
Sept.  2, 2009.  He was born Oct.  16, 1932 in Ionia, the son of Wilfred and
Cynthia (Conroe) Graves.  He graduated from Ionia High School in 1950.  Carl
served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the V.F.W.
and the Shriners.

Carl is survived by daughters Andrea Ellis of North Carolina and Yvonne
(Stephen) Dekok of Minnesota and 6 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 1
brother Vernon.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept 12 at 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home
in Saranac with Rev. Stephen Dekok officiating.  In lieu of flowers you may make
memorial contributions to the Shriners Children Hospital.
