Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, December 8, 1992

Clarksville- Ferdinand R. (Ferd) Grawburg, 48, of Clarksville, died on 
Monday at St. Mary's Living Center in Grand Rapids. 

He was born on February 10, 1944, in Hastings, the son of Frederick and 
Kathryn Wingeier Grawburg. 

He was graduated from Lakewood High School in 1962 and was married to Jane 
Morris on August 17, 1968, in Grand Rapids. 

He had worked at Steelcase, Herbrucks, owned and operated his own barbershop 
in Clarksville for a few years, and before retiring, due to ill health, 
worked at Cantine Food Service of Grand Rapids.

He served on the Clarksville Village Council for 17 years. He was a member 
of the Clarksville Lions Club and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church 
of Alto.

He is survived by his wife, his son Brian of Grand Rapids; two brothers, 
John of Lakeview and Edwin of Lake Odessa, and several aunts, uncle, nieces, 
nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Apostolic Christian Church, 
Alto.

Burial will be in the Clarksville Cemetery.

The family will be at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Clarksville, on Tuesday from 
7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 go 9 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Kidney Foundation, in care of the 
funeral home.
