The deceased had been a resident of the Smyrna neighborhood for the past 40 years, being the widow of F.L. Gray who died about 25 years ago. Mrs. Gray was Mary Sucie as a girl and was born in Weedsport, New York. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive. They are Theressa Maxwell of Grand Rapids; Clifford Gray, of Portland, Oregon; George, of New York; Milford, of Evart; Archie, of Imlay City; Elmer, of Toledo, Mrs. Bertha Curtcher, of Pontiac and Frank, of Lansing. The body laid at rest in the Fitzjohn funeral home until Tuesday when it was taken to Smyrna Maccabee hall from where the funeral was held at 2:30. Rev. H.S. Ellis officiated and burial was in the Smyrna cemetery. Maccabees attended in a body as the deceased was an active member of that organization.
