Lake Odessa Wave
          OSCAR GRAY, RETIRED FARMER DIED. TUESDAY
   Oscar G. Gray 78, retired farmer died Tuesday night at the home of his son Mr.
and Mrs. Cecil Gray of route 3.  He had resided there for a pout a year and a half since 
the death of his wife Bertha Grace.
   A life long resident of Sunfield township, he was the son of Mark and Sabina
Gray, pioneer settlers.
   Surviving besides the son are a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Mabel) Furlong of
Woodland;  a brother Chester of Lake Odessa;  three sisters, Mrs. Ida Leak of Woodbury, 
Mrs. George (Maud) Post of Hastings and Mrs. Benny (Minnie) Trowbridge of Verontville;  
8 grand children and 5 great grand children.
   Funeral services will be held Friday at the Pickens funeral chapel with burial in
the Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Vernon Beardsley of the Charlotte U.B. church will officiate.
