Anna B. Green, age 77, of Portland, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in 
Lowell.  She was born December 6, 1927, in Charlotte the daughter of Leroy and 
Lavita (Soules) Ambrook.  She married Earl Green October 4, 1946.

She lived most of her life in Portland.  Anna worked two years as a nurses aid 
at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, one year at Holly Carburetor Factor in Portland 
and ten years at the Chrysler plant in Lyons.  She knitted and crocheted 
doilies, clothes, and stuffed toys.  She loved her poodles, traveling out west 
and collecting rocks.

Anna is survived by her loving husband Earl Green and children Ronald and Linda 
Green of Ionia, Terry and Viola Green of Mecosta,  Gary and Sharon Green of 
Portland, Steven and Dawn Green of St. Johns, Danny R. Green of Virginia; Cathy 
and Richard Olson of Lake Odessa; and sisters Ella Dickey of Missouri, Litha 
and Robert Walling of St. Johns; and Grandchildren Karen (Green) Charon, Kevin 
and Amanda Green, Kris and Lindsey Green, Terry Green Jr., Tim and Susan Green, 
Korey Green, Kenny Green, Kevin Green, Katie Green, Ericka Green, Theresa Ann 
(Green) and Andy Densmore, Jonathon Green, Jason Green, Christina (Olson) and 
Richard Rau, Pam (Olson) Lanz, Wayne Olson and great-grandchildren Cheyenne 
Charon, Alisa Green, Kollin Green, Kaleb Green, Mackenzie Green, Molly Green, 
Mathew Green, Mike Green, Kody Green, Denver Green, and Autumn Lanz.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1971, mother in 1972, and her sister 
in 1999.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. 
Kendall Harger officiating.  Interment Balcom Cemetery.  The family will 
receive friends and relatives Friday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
