Green fell to the floor dead. He had appeared to be in his usual health when he started on his trip. A boy, Warren Davis, was with him and ran to a neighboring house, notifying the residents of his death. Mr. Green, who was 68, came to Danby from Lansing two years ago. Five weeks ago he married Lovina Wyman, widow of Elliot Wyman. They resided on the Wyman farm not far from the bridge. Funeral services were held at the house Sunday and burial was in Danby cemetery.
