Mrs. Ella P. Green, 62, of Oak Drive, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
DeVillo Helmer, of San Gabriel, Calif., at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 10.  She and 
her husband, Arba H. Green, went to San Gabriel in September 1950 to live with 
their daughter while Mrs. Green was convalescing from an illness.

She was born in Lincoln, Neb., Feb. 14, 1889.  She had lived in Ionia for many 
years.  

Mr. Green and the body will arrive in Ionia Wednesday night.  Funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.

Surviving besides the husband are four daughters, Mrs. Lewis Horn of Ionia, 
Mrs. Wayne Bradley of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. DeVillo Helmer of San Gabriel, 
Calif., and Mrs. John Burgwald of Grand Rapids; two sons, John of Richland and 
Allen of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, 
Walter McDermott of Detroit and Frank McDermott of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and a 
sister, Mrs. Mae Isaacs of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
