The Belding Banner-News, Wednesday, February 25, 1925


Elizabeth Green was born at Fallbrook, Lanark County, Ontario, February, 1855 
and departed this life at Belding, Mich., February 20, 1926, at 1:45 p.m., 
being at the time of her death 70 years and 6 days of age.  Mrs. Green has 
lived in the Angell block for nearly 30 years and the funeral was held Monday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock, in the rooms where she had made her home so long.  

She leaves to mourn their loss 2 daughters, Mrs. Ed. King and Mrs. Ray Ford.  
One son who lives in Alberta, Canada, 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 3 great 
grandsons, 1 great grand daughter, 6 brothers and 2 sisters, and a host of 
other relatives and friends.  

Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were A. L. Jack, of 
Detroit; James Jack, of Morley; Mrs. J. McWilliams, of Morley; Mrs. A. 
McMullen, of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Alvin Settle, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. J. Korsten, of 
Grand Rapids; Mrs. Margaret Nodine, of Toledo.
