Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Jul 1940

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Kart Green 65 who died at her home in Lake Odessa
Friday afternoon were held Sunday afternoon from the residence.  Interment was
at Lakeside cemetery.

Born in A___ County, Ohio, in 1875, she came to Michigan with her father when
she was but two years old.  Her parents settled in Campbell township, in Ionia
county.  She married Hurd? Green of Barry county in 1895.  He died in 1925.  The
couple had lived in Hastings for nine years, when they moved to Lake Odessa.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hopeman? of Lowell and Mrs. Mabel H___ of
Saranac, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Lakeside Cemetery.]
